Summary
On Christmas Eve five years ago, Holly was visited by three ghosts who showed her how selfish and spoiled she’d become. They tried to convince her to mend her ways.
She didn’t.
And then she died.
Now she’s stuck working for the top-secret company Project Scrooge–as the latest Ghost of Christmas Past.
Every year, they save another miserly grouch. Every year, Holly stays frozen at seventeen while her family and friends go on living without her. So far, Holly’s afterlife has been miserable.
But this year, everything is about to change. . . .
My review
It is Christmastime! Time for a Christmasbook! This book gives off the best Christmasvibes, the story is inspired by the classic ‘scrooge’, which we all know! Holly Chase is, no, was a scrooge. She didn’t change and died. This is why she now works at a secret company; Project Scrooge. Every year they ‘save’ a scrooge. This year it is a boy. A 17 year old boy. Not at all the classical scrooge! Holly goes on an investigation and takes you with her in this story. Her assistant, the other members of Project Scrooge and everything she embarks makes this a lovely story! I did expext another ending, but this was great too!
