March Wrapup

Each month, at the end of the month. I’ll share what books I’ve finished this month, what books I’m currently reading and which quotes I liked the best!

Currently Reading

The Book Eaters – Sunyi Dean
So, I like the story so far. I like where the idea is coming from and most likely is going. Why I just can’t seem to pick it up? Maybe I’d need a little more headspace for this one. My goal is to finish this book before the end of 2023.

House of Sky and Breath – Sarah J Maas
I DID IT! I finished the book! AND I LOVED IT. I am a bit frustrated that I didn’t finish it before, but maybe I stretched it on because I didn’t want it to end.

Sorcery of Thorns – Magaret Rogerson
I’ve been driving for hours this month, and when I’m driving I love to listen to audio books. This is one of them. I loved it, and I want to know more!

The Prison Healer – Lynette Noni
Bookclub book, perfect choice for this month. I love the characters and I love the way Lynette writes. I have so much respect for the main characters.

Mysteries of Thorn Manor – Margaret Rogerson
Another audiobook, I love that this book is read by the same person as the one before. It was a short story, but it gave me everything I needed and more.

I’m glad my mom died – Jenette McCurdy
This book was a little different from my normal reads. Bookstagram made me read it.

Best quotes this month

“Our love is stronger than time, greater than any distance. Our love spans across stars and worlds. I will find you again, I promise.”

House of Sky and Breath – Sarah J Maas

“It was always wise to be polite to books, whether they could hear you or not.”

Socery of Thorns – Margaret Rogerson

“Never apologize for loving someone. Even when it hurts. Especially when it hurts.”

The Prison Healer – Lynette Noni

“Our scars define us. They tell a story of courage and survival. They tell of who we are at the deepest being, of the challenges we’ve faced and overcome.”
