The author reveal was so exciting at the YALC instagram! I’m sharing them too and their books, so you can decide which ones you’d like to meet!

Abiola Bello

Abiola Bello is a Nigerian-British, prize-winning children’s and YA author who was born and raised in London. She is an advocate for diversity in books for young people. Her debut Emily Knight I Am … Awakened was nominated for the CILIP’s Carnegie Award, won London’s BIG Read 2019, and was a finalist for the People’s Book Prize Best Children’s Book. She will be there on Saturday.
